Emerging from the congregations of Bethany English Lutheran Church and Good Soil Lutheran Ministries, Gather Together hopes to expand its membership to other practicing Lutherans in and around Cleveland, Ohio.
Gather Together also welcomes young people generally curious to know more about the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and the liberation offered through a life devoted to the teachings of Jesus Christ – including individuals who may have encountered previous religious trauma and are looking to reconnect with faith and explore the promises of God’s grace and unyielding love.
Since its inception in 2023, Gather Together has embraced the following faith formation activities:
Lenten evening prayer service
Spiritual hike
One-day retreat at HopeWood Shores
“Friendsgiving” dinner church

Gather Together is a grateful member of the national Gather Network, a ministry of ELCA Young Adults that connects young adults in cities or regions throughout the ELCA. These ministries create space for young adults to join in fellowship, worship, community, and discussion. Gather invites the group to ask challenging questions of ourselves, our faith, and our world. We hope to create these communities for young adults across race, disability, faith background, gender, sexuality, and perspective to feel welcome to meet, to be, to gather. Some Gather ministries connect deeply with a local campus ministry, as well.
