After homeschooling for a couple years, Hannah realized there was a need for more social and community-based opportunities for homeschool families in the Emmett Valley. When she couldn’t find them, she decided to build one herself. Gathering Gems allows Hannah to continue homeschooling her own children while creating a space where families can connect, learn, and grow together.

Hannah brings her background as a certified teacher, blending the best practices from public education and her university training with a family-centered, research-driven approach to learning. Her goal is to foster education that is not only academically rich but also nurturing, flexible, and community-oriented.
