Gate of Heaven is a large, modern cemetery located at 1056 Daniels Farm Road in Trumbull, Connecticut. It has a serene setting with a pond and you may sometimes spot wildlife around the perimeter. All stones in the cemetery must be flat; you will see no grand monuments here. There is a chapel/columbarium on site and some crosses breaking up the otherwise level landscape. As stated, this is a modern cemetery, very much still in use.

Gate of Heaven constructed a new columbarium (a place where ashes are interred) in mid-2024. There are photos at the bottom of the page.

Estimated number of interments, as of August 2026: at least 9547.
