The founding of Gat Andres Bonifacio High School is the fulfillment of the Department of Education’s mission-- to protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based and complete basic education where: students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe and motivating environment.
The Taguig City Integrated Systems survey result posted in December 2, 2013 revealed that in Barangay Fort Bonifacio, out of 3,553 total households, 43.54%(1,547 families) belongs to the class D status and 44.39%(1,577 families) belongs to class E status. The added cost of travelling learners to Pasay City Schools and the risk of traversing the South Superhighway enable the Department of Education to convert one Pepperjack warehouse of the Nutrition Council into a 12-classroom makeshift building.

It was gracely attended by different officials from the Division of Taguig City and Pateros, headed by the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Danilo S.
