I obtained my PhD in Applied Mathematics in February 2022 at the Université de Bordeaux, France, where I wrote a dissertation entitled “Modelling, analysis and control of some water waves-rigid body interactions”, under the supervision of Franck Sueur and Marius Tucsnak.
Since Sept. 2024, I have been a Postdoctoral Fellow based at the group of mathematical fluids dynamics in the Westlake University, People's Republic of China.
Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at LaMME, Université Paris-Saclay, France, for two years, and a Researcher at the Centre for Ocean Energy Research in the National University of Ireland Maynooth, for one year.

My research focuses on problems related to nonlinear partial differential equations theory arising in geophysics and fluid dynamics. A significant portion of my work is devoted to local and global issues related to free boundary problems and regularity theory for the Navier-Stokes equations (N-S) and related models. Three subjects are being investigated regarding these aspects: modelling and simulation of fluid-structure interactions, Cauchy problem for the N-S equations in the setting of variable Lebesgue spaces and Liouville-type theorems for stationary equations.
Within the framework of the XXXVI congress of mathematics of the southern zone, Chile, I have had the privilege of being awarded by the Catholic University of Temuco as an outstanding ALUMNI.
I never thought that this kind of things would happen to me, I feel very happy and grateful about it!!
My paper "Liouville type theorems for stationary Navier-Stokes equations with variable Lebesgue spaces of variable exponent", in collaboration with D. Chamorro, has been recently accepted for publication in Documenta Mathematica.

My paper "On variable Lebesgue spaces and generalized nonlinear heat equations" has been published in Journal of Dynamics and Differential Equations.
