In my efforts to achieve my career aspirations, I have been actively advocating for the NJROTC program. I am enrolled in this program and pursuing an accelerated math course to enhance my knowledge and skills. My career aspirations have led to a pursuit in mechanical engineering, which I intend to obtain through military service such as the U.S. Marines or Navy. I come from three generations of military service. I don't want to walk in their footsteps but to walk beside them to take the inspiration they gave me and move it forward. I have slowly developed a niche in engineering, and recently, it has become more apparent with this program that I want to pursue It.
My current focus is on my professional goals, which I strive to achieve through active participation in the NJROTC program. This valuable experience has notably enhanced my leadership skills and military bearing. Moreover, I'm enrolled in an accelerated math course to sharpen my decision-making abilities and goal-oriented mindset. I plan to further expand my knowledge by taking accelerated science classes to equip myself better for my future goals. By immersing myself in challenging pursuits like these, I am confident in my ability to overcome any obstacles that come my way.
I enjoy participating in activities such as high school wrestling, community softball, and missions work during my free time. I have discovered that wrestling has greatly benefited my life. This sport has helped me enhance my self-perception and acquire valuable techniques for challenging situations. Wrestling has empowered me to transform unfavorable circumstances into favorable results. Moreover, joining a community of wrestlers has enabled me to refine my interpersonal skills and effectively collaborate with individuals from various backgrounds. These hobbies allowed me to stay physically active and provided a sense of fulfillment by engaging with my community and helping others through volunteer work. Overall, I found these pursuits to be both enjoyable and rewarding.
Upon high school graduation, I have many opportunities that can lead to great success. I hope to be afforded the time to diligently review my options and seek the prospect that leads to my success and the success and building up of those around me. In the present time, there are many opportunities ahead of me. I can utilize my wrestling skills to obtain a full scholarship to a university for four years. Not only do I desire to equip myself in the engineering field, but I also have a deep passion for helping others. Another prospect is being accepted into a naval officer academy where I would pursue a degree in engineering while obtaining my own 911 GI bill, which would be utilized towards a master's degree in mechanical engineering. I would complete my tie in the military and then possibly transition into civilian life. I also have a heart for mission work and work every summer towards rebuilding churches and packaging clothes and other items to be shipped to those in need in eastern countries.
The path I choose to take will affect those around me. As a Christian, I deeply desire to live a life that honors God and is there for savers. I want to positively influence those around me and make a lasting impact in both big and small ways. I plan to use my skills to coach other youth and help them develop the skills and grit to succeed. I also want to honor those who have helped me along the way, like my family, coaches, and everyone; therefore, I aim to work towards a legacy of honesty, integrity and hope for those around me.
