I cannot remember a time when I didn't write. Words mean everything to me. They are my friends and colleagues. Whenever I have felt alone and detached from the world, which is more times than I should have to bear, words have been my guidance and my reason for being. Writing is the single most important aspect of who I am, and makes up a huge aspect of what I am as a person. 

My work is often controversial. I don't write for a passive audience. Any piece of creative work should move its audience. I believe in engaging the reader or watcher by stimulating difficult, and often contradictory emotions in them; but there is always an element of humour in my work.
