At Garikipati Labs, our research is dedicated to understanding aging and cardiovascular health, with a strong emphasis on the role of small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs) and other non-coding RNAs in the left ventricle of the human heart. Our team of passionate scientists, researchers, and student workers is committed to uncovering the molecular and genetic mechanisms underlying cardiovascular diseases. By integrating advanced molecular biology techniques with in vivo studies using mouse models, we strive to decode the complex regulatory networks that influence heart function and disease progression. Our ultimate goal is to translate these discoveries into novel therapeutic strategies that can improve heart health and overall well-being.
