I am an Associate Professor in the Mathematics Institute at the University of Warwick. Prior to that, I held postdoctoral positions at the University of Birmingham (2021-2022); the University of Oxford (2020-2021); the Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics, Budapest (2019-2020); and the University of Bath (2017-2019). My doctoral studies were here at Warwick, under the supervision of Professor Derek Holt.
My primary area of research is in Group Theory, and the following is a non-exhaustive list of the particular topics I am interested in.
Generation properties of finite groups.
Representation theory, subgroup structure, and properties of automorphisms of finite simple groups.
Permutation groups and associated combinatorics.
Subgroup enumeration problems in finite groups.
Probabilistic Group Theory.
