This is a collection of some material that I have prepared for different outreach activities and some appearances in media. 

Most of the contents are in Spanish.

Dissemination talks 

Activity organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the University of Barcelona for high-school students (16-18 years old). It consists of a talk followed by a workshop in the faculty's computer rooms.

What is the mathematical idea behind medical imaging techniques like the CT scan? An approach to tomography with games and exercises with the computer.

Iniciative to promote the organization of activities to commemorate February 11, International Day of Women and Girls in Science . Its website helps to arrange talks with educational centers. 

Mathematics in images (2022, 2023)

What mathematics can be found in photographs or CT scans? An introdution to some mathematics in imaging. Illustrated with images of women mathematicians. (In Spanish, the words "mathematics" and the female of "mathematicians" agree.)
