(commissions are currently full, wait-list will open around August 2026. will be done through a google form)
Please keep in mind that the service I provide is assembling and painting unpainted garage kits. I do not create models from scratch. I do not own a 3D printer either, you would have to have someone else 3D print a figure you are interested in then have me paint it. I do not do repaints or repairs, I only work on unpainted/unassembled garage kits.
Hello! I am accepting commissions for painting anime figure garage kits. I'm based in the United States but I can also accept international commissions outside of the U.S. I am not a professional at painting/assembling garage kits, please judge based on past garage kits I have already done (see my portfolio- starts from most recent kits to older kits). I started in 2023 and have done more than 50+ kits since then. Please be aware of this before you decide to commission me, they will not be perfect and have some flaws. While I can follow a reference image/sample, I cannot guarantee that the final result will be 100% identical to the picture. As I am not a professional at doing garage kits, I will not accept commissions that I believe are too advanced for me, as I want to make sure the client is satisfied with their finished kit. If you are looking for a professional paint job I recommend looking for other artists. I own an airbrush, the kits will be airbrushed while some details will be painted by hand.
Commission Prices:
Prices will depend on the complexity of the kit and amount of characters. Most kits usually fall between $350-600 USD for one character, this price does not include shipping. If the kit is very detailed/complex or has more than one character, the price will be higher. The price for two characters will likely be between $700-900 USD. Commission cost reflects the materials used, such as the use of lacquer paint as it is more expensive but also more durable, as well as labor.
The amount of time I take to complete the kit will depend on the complexity of the kit. Most kits take me 2-4 weeks to finish. If something comes up which will delay the completion of the figure, I will let you know. While I am working on it, I will send some pictures so you can review my work before I proceed with painting details.
Price quotes are subject to change. For example, if you come to me asking for a quote in August then decide to go through with the commission some months later in February, the price may not be the same.
Kits/figures I will not do:
I have the right to refuse a commission which I am not comfortable doing for any reason.
-I will only work on kits that range from ⅛-⅕ scale, and possibly ¼ if it meets certain conditions. If it is a half-body/bust and is ¼ that is fine (like https://myfigurecollection.net/item/2940591). . I will not work on a ¼ garage kit where the character is standing (like https://myfigurecollection.net/item/38202) as they are more difficult to assemble at that scale and need more support. A ¼ kit like this https://myfigurecollection.net/item/1710887 is fine due to the sitting pose. I will not work on kits that are smaller than a 1/8 scale (such as 1/12) or miniatures. If you're not sure about the scale that is fine, submit it anyways and I will let you know whether I can do it.
I will not do garage kits which I consider to not be within my skill set. (for example, Genshin Impact characters tend to have a lot of detail)
-I will not work on "lewd" figures. I'm fine painting characters such as Super Sonico, but there are some adult kits I may not be comfortable doing. Again, feel free to submit the kit to this form anyways if you're not sure and I will let you know whether I accept it.
-I will not work on realistic figures as I do not have experience painting in that style. I have only done anime-style.
Payment:
In regards to payment, I will ask for half of the commission cost to begin working on the kit, then the rest of the cost plus shipping once I show you pictures of the finished product and it's ready to ship. For new clients, the first half of the payment will be required upfront for a commission slot. You will cover the cost of shipping the kit to me as well as the return shipping cost + insurance for the completed kit. I will not ship the kit until I have received the full payment.
Payment will be done via PayPal. I strongly prefer receiving payment through F&F, but I will also accept payment through goods and services. However, since payment through goods and services charges a 2.99% fee, the price will reflect this. If you are outside the U.S, the PayPal fee is higher, closer to 5%. The price will be LOWER if paid through PayPal F&F.
Payment is non-refundable as I would have already spent the time and materials to complete the figure. The only time that I will accept a refund is if I have not yet started the kit, in that case I will provide a refund but you have to cover the return shipping cost.
Shipping:
The shipping price for the completed kit will be a separate payment in addition to the commission cost once the kit is completed. The price will include shipping insurance. The client will be responsible for the shipping cost.
Also note for the shipping process, some parts may not already be assembled into the figure in order to prevent breaks in transit. Therefore, please expect to have to glue on some parts (you can use superglue or two-part epoxy glue for larger parts)
An option to save on shipping, if you do not already have the garage kit in your possession, is that you can ship your kit directly to me from wherever you are planning on buying it from :) I can also purchase it after you send me the money to buy the kit
Kits will be packaged carefully, however due to the fragile nature of resin, there is still a chance for small breaks in transit. Be prepared to fix small breaks yourself.
International clients
I can accept clients outside of the United States, however, I am not responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees which may be incurred. The client is responsible for covering these fees.
For payment I can accept either PayPal or Wise.
More information/Addressing some common questions
-I do not know how to sculpt or modify pieces (such as changing the shape of hair, creating new pieces etc)
-As for bases, no need to worry about it as I supply them :) I have an assortment of acrylic and wooden bases. I usually choose whichever is most suitable for the kit depending on the size and weight. Most of the time I will use a clear acrylic base. However if there is a specific base you would like me to use, you are more than welcome to send one with the kit!
-I am okay with recasts but I would recommend getting your kit from the recast sites GK-M or E2046, as recasts from other sites can be bad quality
