My honest thoughts on the second game of the rebooted franchise is honestly, i thought it would be worse then i expect it to be, I loved the first games campaign but the issue i had was Multiplayer and Spec Ops, but the second game. Oh my god, it had such a good story, the multiplayer was (okay) to say the least, at least better. The new coop missions are cool to play with a friend.
Thanks Infinity Ward.
Gonna be honest, this is the most i've payed attention to character dialogue in a video game before, besides Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2. The characters are very well written and Captain Price and Ghost had good lines talking to Soap. I liked where you could pick what your character says or just don't say anything (that makes it more awkward)
The graphics honestly, were breathtaking. It looks like a movie half the time, the characters details in the cutscene were really cool. I loved the design of Ghost and Captain Price, Gaz looked awesome as well. The level design was really well designed, except the stealth missions.
The general graphics in terms of like levels and stuff, we're up to par with a high budget film in my opinion. Although to some people it might just be normal now.
I don't know if it's me or not, but those stealth missions, honestly. I fucked hated them so much, they were really hard. I might just have a really small goddamn brain but those got me a little pissed off after retrying them for the sixth time. I'll probably do better on a second play through. The gameplay in general was the same as MW2019, but it did feel a little different in terms of movement, so they probably changed it, i don't know.
I'm not a big Multiplayer Call of Duty person, but i did enjoy the few hours i spent playing the open beta and the final games multiplayer. I don't have much to put here other than some kids screaming on their microphone and Russians getting mad.
I think i blew a hole in my pants, the weapon sound design is just as good as MW2019, and the footsteps sounds really good. The reverb of weapons, and rooms with more clutter feel less echoey, and less and less clutter equals more echoey.
The real experience of this game is the Campaign, it's cast of characters have good VAs and amazing motion capture work done. The cutscenes look really good, and i loved the little nod at the after credits scene (search it up)
