How to get here?

How to reach Bath?

The closest airport is Bristol airport. Here are two ways to reach Bath from it:

By bus, then by train: First reach Bristol Temple Meads using the Airport Flyer bus, which takes 30 minutes. Then go by train from Bristol Temple Meads to Bath Spa railway station, which takes 15 minutes. You can book your train ticket through Great Western Railway.
Direct bus: The Air Decker is a direct bus going from Bristol Airport to Bath Spa bus station. This takes 1h30.

If you are coming from London, here are two ways to reach Bath:

By train: You can reach Bath Spa railway station from London Paddington railway station by booking your train ticket through Great Western Railway. This takes 1h20.
By bus: There are several buses going from London Victoria Station to Bath Spa bus station. One of them can be booked through National Express. This takes approximately 3h00. Note that this bus can also be taken at Heathrow Airport, in which case the trip is 2h00 long.

The University of Bath is at the top of a hill, way out of the city centre. Here are few options to reach it:

U1 bus: It can be caught from the pavement opposite to Bath Spa railway station. You will go from Dorchester Street to University of Bath, Arrivals square and this takes approximately 20 minutes. Here a timetable, and there are other stops all the way to hop in.
Other buses: There are other buses that are less frequent. You may find more details here.
By foot: It takes approximately 50 minutes to reach the University from Bath Spa railway station.
