Ganesh Manjhi is an Assistant Professor in the Centre for Mathematical and Computational Economics in the School of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science at IIT Jodhpur. He was a visiting fellow from May-July 2025 at the Department of Economics, Lancaster University Management School, as a part of a visiting fellowship under the International Mobility Research Grant-2025 from IIT Jodhpur.Â
Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Gargi College, University of Delhi, a consultant at the Asian Development Bank, and a Research Assistant at ICRIER. He completed his Master's from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi in 2007, M.Phil in Economics in 2011, and Ph.D. in Economics at the Centre for the Study of the World Economy, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 2019.
His areas of interest include Macroeconomics, Political and Institutional Economy, Natural Language Processing in Macroeconomics and Finance, and Applied Econometrics and Forecasting.
