Ganesh Manjhi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, Easwari School of Liberal Arts, SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati. 

Previously, he worked as an assistant professor at the Centre for Mathematical and Computational Economics in the School of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science at IIT Jodhpur. He was a visiting fellow at the Department of Economics, Lancaster University Management School, May-July 2025, as part of a visiting fellowship under the International Mobility Research Grant-2025 from IIT Jodhpur. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Gargi College, University of Delhi, a consultant at the Asian Development Bank, and a Research Assistant at ICRIER. He completed his Master's at the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, in 2007; his M.Phil. in Economics in 2011; and his PhD in Economics at the Centre for the Study of the World Economy, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, in 2019.

He has published in esteemed journals like Economic Modelling, Dynamic Games and Applications, Global Economy Journal, etc., and has refereed for journals such as Journal of Public Economic Theory, Economic Modelling, Economics Bulletin, The Energy Journal, Journal of Population Ageing, etc.

His areas of interest include Macroeconomics, Political and Institutional Economy, Natural Language Processing in Macroeconomics and Finance, and Applied Econometrics and Forecasting.
