Overview of the Site
Welcome Teachers and Parents! The focus of this website is to help students learn Social Studies in an engaging and educational way! The website is split into multiple sections:
- Theory- This page explains the theory behind using games in teaching Social Studies.
- Lesson plans across multiple grade levels for a variety of topics
- Universal Design for Learning Toolkits- These toolkits differentiate learning for students
- Scope and Sequence Charts- These charts illustrate how learning builds from year to year
- Comments- Teachers and families who have used the resources on this site are able to comment on whether a lesson/game worked, and how they can be improved.
- Resources- This is a list of other resources such as articles/websites that can provide more information on using games in education.
