The company Gamesa, known for its Marias and Emperador cookies, has more than 100 years of existence
The company Gamesa was born in Mexico in 1921 after the brothers Alberto, Ignacio and Manuel Santos González acquired 50 percent of the shares of the Lara, S.A. factory, highlights the Superbrands organization.
One of its first products was Marias cookies, which for about 100 years have been on the tables of hundreds of Mexicans.
But for the year of 1948 the owners changed the name to its corporate name and Galletera Mexicana S.A. was born, although it would not be until 1978 when they began to be called Gamesa, which means Galletera Mexicana Santos.
