Alberto Bemporad received his M.S. degree cum laude in Electrical Engineering (1993) and his Ph.D. in Control Engineering (1997) from the University of Florence, Italy. He held research positions at Washington University in St. Louis (1996–1997) and ETH Zurich (1997–2002). He served at the University of Siena (1999–2009) and at the University of Trento (2010–2011). Since 2011, he has been Full Professor at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, where he was Director from 2012 to 2015. He co-founded ODYS S.r.l. in 2011, a company specialized in industrial model predictive control systems, and has held visiting appointments at Stanford University, the University of Michigan, and Zhejiang University. He has authored over 400 publications and 21 patents in model predictive control, hybrid systems, optimization, and automotive control, and co-developed the Model Predictive Control Toolbox (MathWorks) for MATLAB. He was an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control during 2001-2004 and Chair of the IEEE CSS Technical Committee on Hybrid Systems during 2002-2010. He is an IEEE Fellow (since 2010) and IFAC Fellow (since 2025). His awards include the IFAC High-Impact Paper Award (2011–14), IEEE CSS Transition to Practice Award (2019), SAE Environmental Excellence in Transportation Award (2021), the Beale–Orchard-Hays Prize (2024), and an ERC Advanced Grant (2024).

David Fridovich-Keil is an assistant professor of aerospace engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Fridovich-Keil's research investigates a wide variety of multi-agent strategic decision-making problems, and focuses on establishing game-theoretic models of these interactions, inverting those models to infer agents' intentions from data, and leveraging that information to guide future interactions. A key aim of Fridovich-Keil's recent work has been to integrate these capabilities with generative machine learning by leveraging fundamental connections with optimization theory and differentiable programming. Fridovich-Keil is the recipient of an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and an NSF CAREER award.

Chinmay Maheshwari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, with a secondary appointment in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. He is affiliated with the Data Science and AI Institute and the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics. His research focuses on design of data science and AI foundations for creating efficient, equitable, and safe multi-agent autonomous systems across high-performance robotics, mobility, and energy domains. He obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley in 2025, his undergraduate degrees (B.Tech and M.Tech) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay in 2019. He was selected as an NSF CPS Rising Star in 2025 and received the Lotfi A Zadeh prize in 2025.

Negar Mehr is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, she was an assistant professor of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Before that, she was a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford Aeronautics and Astronautics department. She received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley in 2019 and her B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2013. She is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award and ONR Young Investigator Program (YIP) award. She was recently recognized as a rising star by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). She was awarded the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems best Ph.D. dissertation award in 2020.

Bryce L. Ferguson is an Assistant Professor in the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. Bryce obtained his BS, MS, and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2018, 2020, and 2024, respectively, and his AA in Mathematics from Santa Rosa Junior College in 2016. He also held Visiting Research positions at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, in 2019, and at the University of Grenoble, Alpes, in 2022. Prior to joining Dartmouth, Bryce was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, and worked as a Senior Research Engineer with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Aerospace Systems Directorate in 2024 and 2025.

Sophie Hall obtained a PhD from the Automatic Control Laboratory at ETH Zürich in 2026. She completed her undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering focusing on medical engineering, control and signal processing at the University of Surrey, UK, and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. In 2021, Sophie obtained her MSc in Biomedical Engineering from ETH Zürich specializing in modeling and control. During her master's studies, Sophie conducted research on Gaussian processes for control in Prof. Zeilinger's group and worked on real-time MPC schemes in Prof. Dörfler's group. Her research focuses on game-theoretic MPC, its theoretical closed-loop properties, as well as energy and groundwater applications. In addition, Sophie works on carbon-aware computing for global load shifting in collaboration with Google.
KTH Stockholm
Emilio Benenati is a post-doctoral researcher at KTH Stockholm, Sweden. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2025 from the Delft Center for Systems and Control, TU Delft, The Netherlands, his Master's degree in 2019 from ETH Zürich, Switzerland, and his Bachelor's degree in 2016 from the University of Catania, Italy. In 2019-2020, he held a research position at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genova, Italy. He visited the Colorado University at Boulder, in 2019, and the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2024. His research interests include game theoretic control problems for the real-time control of complex interactive systems, with application to vehicle control and multi-agent systems.
