Privacy Policy - Game Booster
Last updated: 12 August 2026
Game Booster ("the app") is an Android gaming performance utility. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
Summary: Game Booster has no servers and no user accounts. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or sensitive user data. Nothing you do in the app is sent to the developer.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
None. The app has no backend, no analytics SDK, and no advertising SDK. The developer receives no data about you or your device.
INFORMATION THE APP READS ON YOUR DEVICE
The app reads the following only on your device, only to make its features work, and never transmits any of it:
Installed apps and usage statistics - with the "Usage access" permission you grant on the Android system screen, the app detects which app is in the foreground so it can automatically apply boost when a game opens, and shows you your own play-time statistics. This information stays on the device.
Device performance readings - RAM, battery level, and temperature, shown live in the app and in the in-game overlay.
Your settings and preferences - stored locally using Android's standard preference storage. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
VPN (GAMING DNS BOOSTER)
Game Booster includes an optional DNS booster that uses Android's VpnService API. You should know exactly what it does:
It is entirely optional and opt-in. It does nothing unless you tap the CONNECT button on the Network screen and accept the Android system VPN consent dialog that follows.
It creates a local-only VPN interface whose only purpose is to change which DNS resolver your device uses. You choose the resolver from a fixed list: Cloudflare, Google Public DNS, or Quad9.
No routes are added to the interface, so your traffic is not tunneled. Your network traffic continues to flow over your normal connection exactly as it did before. Only DNS lookups go to the resolver you selected.
We operate no VPN server and no server of any kind. Your traffic cannot be and is not routed through us.
Your browsing, network activity, and DNS queries are not monitored, logged, recorded, or collected by the app or the developer.
While it is active, an ongoing notification shows the resolver in use. You can turn it off at any time from inside the app, or by revoking the VPN permission in Android settings.
When the DNS booster is on, your DNS queries are answered by the public resolver you chose. Those providers handle those queries under their own privacy policies:
Cloudflare: https://developers.cloudflare.com/1.1.1.1/privacy/public-dns-resolver/
Google Public DNS: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/privacy
Quad9: https://www.quad9.net/service/privacy/
NETWORK CONNECTIONS THE APP MAKES
For transparency, these are the only outbound connections the app makes:
Latency (ping) tests you start, to measure connection quality.
DNS queries to your chosen resolver, when the DNS booster is on (above).
Font downloads from Google Fonts, to render the app's typography.
Google Play in-app review, if you choose to leave a rating.
PERMISSIONS AND WHY THEY ARE NEEDED
Internet - ping tests, DNS booster, font downloading.
Foreground service and notifications - keeping an active boost session and the DNS booster running, with a visible notification.
Display over other apps - the optional in-game performance overlay (HUD).
Do Not Disturb access - silencing notifications during a boosted gaming session.
Modify system settings - locking screen brightness during a gaming session.
Usage access - detecting when a game opens for auto-boost, and your play-time statistics.
VPN - the optional DNS booster described above.
Every sensitive permission is requested through the standard Android system screen, and the app works without them - the related feature is simply unavailable if you decline.
CHILDREN
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
DATA DELETION
Because no data ever leaves your device, there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored settings and statistics.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be reflected in the app's store listing.
Declaration
This application is developed and maintained by "MD Developer Studio", which serves as the official merchant for this application and is legally owned by "MITUL VINUBHAI DONDA"
