Con questo sito mi propongo di mettere a disposizione una serie di spartiti che sono il frutto di una attività che ormai copre un quarto di secolo. Si tratterà soprattutto di trascrizioni per chitarra di musiche appartenenti al periodo rinascimentale e barocco, senza escludere la presenza di brani didattici e/o di altre epoche; sono tutti brani ormai di pubblico dominio ed essendo mia la revisione e la compilazione in partitura dunque non coperti da nessun tipo di copyright. Per alcuni fornirò anche un mp3 sempre eseguito da me. Chi sono? Mi chiamo Alberto Ghioldi, diplomato in chitarra classica al conservatorio G.Verdi di Milano, e con un'esperienza ormai quarantennale di insegnamento presso vari istituti privati, non vincolata alla mia specializzazione ma estesa anche a gran parte dei generi cosiddetti moderni. Una minima parte dei miei interessi la potete vedere sul mio canale youtube. Cosa mi propongo con questo sito? Innanzitutto di provare a farmi conoscere anche al di fuori della mia 'zona regionale' (Varese e dintorni), fornendo spartiti in forma del tutto gratuita, e che ritengo di buon livello, sia a studenti amatoriali, sia a professionisti, interessati ad ampliare le proprie conoscenze e il proprio repertorio musicale. Il repertorio a cui attingerò è talmente vasto da risultare ancora in larga parte sconosciuto, ed io vorrei dare il mio contributo fornendo 'perle' musicali di grande bellezza che rimangono talvolta sconosciute anche agli addetti ai lavori, e ciò solo per la difficoltà di esplorare l'immensa quantità del materiale a disposizione.

Mi pongo altresì a disposizione di chi riterrà opportuno richiedere chiarimenti sulle tecniche impiegate per le trascrizioni offerte sul presente sito, in forma anche di brevi corsi indirizzati all'apprendimento delle modalità con cui arrivare a produrre efficaci risultati anche nella trascrizone di brani destinati a strumenti, quali il liuto barocco, sostanzialmente diversi dalla chitarra moderna.

Un altro scopo che mi prefiggo è la collaborazione di altre persone che abbiano deciso di inaugurare siti simili al mio, ospitando reciprocamente sul proprio sito eventuali link di rimando, in modo tale da favorire la diffusione del materiale ospitato sulle proprie pagine. Se qualcuno poi volesse segnalarmi brani degni di essere trascritti prenderò anche in considerazione l'eventualità di dedicarmici fornendo una trascrizione per chitarra.

Infine, una nota metodologica: il materiale a disposizione è enorme, tuttavia lo pubblicherò solo un poco per volta dopo un'attenta revisione di ogni singola partitura; in effetti, una parte di questo materiale è nata per finalità didattiche che a volte mi hanno indotto ad alleggerire le difficoltà di un brano: qui invece vorrei pubblicare solamente (e in caso contrario lo indicherò esplicitamente) spartiti il più possibile fedeli all'originale.


With this site I propose to make available a series of scores that are the result of an activity that now spans a quarter of a century. It will mainly deal with transcriptions for guitar of music belonging to the Renaissance and Baroque period, without excluding the presence of didactic pieces and / or other eras; they are all pieces now in the public domain and being my revision and compilation in the score therefore not covered by any type of copyright. For some I will also provide an mp3 always performed by me. Who I am? My name is Alberto Ghioldi, graduated in classical guitar at the G. Verdi conservatory in Milan, and with forty years of teaching experience at various private institutes, not tied to my specialization but also extended to most of the so-called modern genres. You can see a small part of my interests on my youtube channel. What do I propose with this site? First of all, to try to make myself known even outside my 'regional area' (Varese and its surroundings), providing scores completely free of charge, and which I believe to be of a good standard, both to amateur students and professionals, interested in expanding their own knowledge and musical repertoire. The repertoire from which I will draw is so vast that it is still largely unknown, and I would like to give my contribution by providing musical 'pearls' of great beauty that sometimes remain unknown even to experts, and this only for the difficulty of exploring the immense amount of material available.

I also place myself at the disposal of those who deem it appropriate to request clarifications on the techniques used for the transcriptions offered on this site, also in the form of short courses aimed at learning how to produce effective results even in the transcription of pieces intended for instruments, such as the baroque lute, substantially different from the modern guitar.

Another purpose that I set myself is the collaboration of other people who have decided to inaugurate sites similar to mine, hosting reciprocal links on their site, in such a way as to facilitate the dissemination of the material hosted on their pages. And if someone wants to tell me pieces worthy of being transcribed, I will also consider the possibility of dedicating myself to them by providing a transcription for guitar.

Finally, a methodological note: the material available is enormous, however I will publish it only a little at a time after a careful revision of each single score; in fact, part of this material was created for didactic purposes which at times led me to ease the difficulties of a piece: here instead I would like to publish only (and if not I will explicitly indicate it) scores as faithful as possible to the original.
