Artists can make their art within the venue with the provided supplies, or bring their works into the library for display
Volunteers and library staff will be available for assistance, but it is preferred that you ask the volunteers about this event first for questions pertaining to it
You can come inside at any time throughout the event, whether to make or provide your works
We will provide display cards for artists to write their name and the name of their work if they desire
Works that can be placed on display include paintings, drawings, sketches, and small sculptures. Please avoid bringing oversized works that would be unable to be displayed
Works will continue to be displayed for the following two weeks, and can be picked up by the artists at any time. However, the library is unable to retain works for longer than that, so it is up to the artist to pick them up on time if they desire their works back
Small origami models for children, such as butterflies, flowers, puppets, frogs, and more
Mini gift boxes created from various art supplies that are large enough to put small trinkets or candies inside that can be given as a gift
(Please use parental discretion for participants)
Participants will be challenged to create the tallest tower made of popsicle sticks and glue as they can, with small prizes for the top five participants and small candies for participants
(Available throughout entire day)
Small sticks will be provided for participants to attach artworks to and insert into a large foam board to slowly build a scene filled with the imagination of children
