About

Gallery Mapper is an app that makes use of your mobile device's camera, photo album, location, and sharing capabilities to let you organize your photos and videos.

Your data

No personal data is shared with the developer. All photos and videos saved to the app are stored in the device's file system, or with iCloud, to be accessed from your other devices(integration pending). All photos and videos you choose to share with others using the app are only shared with your selected recipients. Location services are only used to add tags to the photos and videos you add to the app. Use of iCloud and any sharing platforms you may have access to (eg. email, dropbox, etc.) is subject to their respective privacy policies.

Your information

No personal information is requested or gathered. The app does not require you to set up an account, and only uses iCloud to allow you to access your saved data from your other devices where the app is installed.

Device permissions

Required permissions:

The app will request your permission to access the device's camera and microphone to let you capture photos and videos directly from the app, and access to the photo album to select previously recorded media. These permissions are necessary for basic app functionality.

Optional permissions:

The app will request your permission to access your device's location services to automatically tag your added media with coordinates and a heading, and to show your location on the map screen. If your added media is missing coordinates because the app does not have permission to access your location, the media will not be displayed on the map screen.

Ammendments

The privacy policy may be updated if more features are provided. Any updates will be visible on this page.
