This Privacy Policy explains how Gallery ("we", "our", or "the App") handles your information. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Data Collection
Gallery does not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) from its users. The App does not require registration, login, or any cloud synchronization.
2. Access to Photos and Videos
Gallery requires permission to access all photos and videos on your device. This permission is necessary to provide the App’s core functionality:
View, organize, and manage your media across all folders, including non-media directories.
Edit, rename, move, and delete media seamlessly without repeated permission prompts.
No Uploading: Your photos and videos remain on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Vault Feature: If you choose to move files into the Vault, they are stored locally in the App’s private storage area, inaccessible to other apps.
3. Permissions Used
Gallery requests the following permissions:
Storage/Media Access: To display, organize, and manage your photos and videos.
Full Storage Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): To allow seamless browsing, editing, renaming, moving, and deleting of media across all folders.
Optional Vault Access: To move selected files into private internal storage.
These permissions are strictly used for core functionality. We do not use them for tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
Gallery does not use third-party analytics tools, ad networks, or external APIs that collect personal information.
5. Data Security
Your media files are stored locally on your device. Files moved to the Vault are placed in internal storage inaccessible to other apps.
Encryption: The App does not encrypt your media.
Data Loss: Files in the Vault may be lost if the app is uninstalled or the device is reset.
6. Children’s Privacy
Gallery is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
