How to Get Ready to Dance 💃🕺
Wake up your body! Do a few gentle stretches or a quick warm-up before class to help your muscles feel happy and ready to move.
Come feeling your best. Make sure you’re healthy and physically ready to groove.Â
Bring your smiles. A positive attitude and a big smile are always part of the dress code. Feel free to sing along and ask questions! :) ✨
Use good judgment, listen to your body, and respect your personal limits
By participating in this class, you’re confirming that you feel physically able to take part.
You are strongly encouraged to modify movements or activities at any time to make them safer or more comfortable. For example, if spinning doesn’t feel right for any reason, simply skip it — just move your feet to the beat and have a good time.
You’re responsible for monitoring your own well-being and deciding whether to continue, adjust, or pause participation as needed.
Your safety and comfort always come first. 💛
What to Bring:
Comfortable shoes, such as tennis shoes or dance shoes with slippery bottoms. You can get "shoe socks" to put over your tennis shoes to make them a bit slippery, which is helpful for knees and turns. Here are some really good dance socks! Â Many of us wear these. I love them!
Comfortable clothing (like what you would wear to the gym or anything that makes you feel good!).Â
A water bottle! Stay hydrated!
Please refrain from wearing strong perfumes or heavy scents, as some dancers are allergic or highly sensitive.
Public Health Protocols:
Everyone, including those vaccinated, can spread viruses, Corona variants, and other dis-eases. Please be responsible and stay home if you are not feeling well. We follow safety protocols as required by the state/county and dance studio.Â
