   In 1977 a man wanted to buy a diamond for his wife's 10th anniversary, being that he had never given his wife one before. He was referred to a diamond importer, where he was taught all of the different characteristics of a diamond. Not only did this man buy the diamond for his wife, but he also decided to use all of his family's savings of $1000 to buy gold jewelry to sell. From that point on he sold his initial investment and continued to reinvest in and build his small business. In 1979 he opened his small store in a booth at The Encino Jewelry Mart. 

After 42 years, that small store has headed in a new direction. With the changing times Galinda's Jewelry has renewed its business model, yet is continuing with it's great service and fair pricing of fine quality jewelry. 

Hi! My name is Tina and the story above is of my father, Galo. He is not only my father, he was and continues to be my mentor. I grew up in this business and through the decades of being by his side I have learned and loved how this complicated business of many facets work. I am able to create a beautiful piece from your imagination to the finished product. I am knowledgeable in most all aspects of the jewelry business from diamonds - both natural earth mined and LAB Grown, 

gem stones and precious metals. Using CAD Imagery I work with a team of craftsmen who put it all into production with design, wax print, casting and stone setting to the final polish. Which has now tansformed into a concierge jeweler making bespoke jewelry.
