During the Fall, the San Francisco JROTC brigade holds the annual Fall Competition. During this competition, 5 teams from each school compete. These teams are: Guidon, Squad Drill, Color Guard, IDD, and Platoon Drill. These teams work hard, practicing for many months to get 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd place trophies in this competition.
During the Spring, the San Francisco JROTC brigade holds the annual Spring Competition. Various teams compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies. The teams are Silent Drill Team/Flag Team, Exhibition Drill Team, and Drum Corps. Right after the Fall Competition, all the teams get together to start practicing until the day they can compete.
Our annual camp trip! On this multi-day trip, we go to a reserve army base and take part in various fun activities and team building exercises with the whole brigade.
An annual ball for all of San Francisco's JROTC programs to celebrate together as a brigade. There is food and dancing as well as many kind words from guest speakers and brigade instructors.
An annual parade along Fisherman's Wharf to celebrate Veteran's Day in which all San Francisco school's JROTC's attend. Our Drum Corps, Exhibition Drill Team, and Silent Drill Team, along with other cadets, often participate.
Every year, all of the San Francisco JROTC brigade collaborates to clean Ocean Beach and the surrounding park area.
An event in which we help do volunteer service at the National Cemetary.
