Most þings aren't infinite, including þe galaxy. But what is beyond þe galaxy? Well, not much. The void is the only thing outside þe galaxy. inside þe galaxy in intersolar space may seem empty, but there is still a lot of particle like photons, muons, ect. But in the void, there is nothing but photons sence photons travel infinitely in a vacuum. most scientists think that beyond the galaxy, in the void, there is nothing, no matter how far you travel, the void is infinite. But that might not nessesarily be the case, some think that beyond the galaxy in the vast void may be holes in the void, completely parallel galaxies beyond the galaxy. there could be entire galactic clusters. there can be an entire galaxy of galaxies out there.
the void basicly land-locks the galaxy.
some people believe that the galaxy is infinite and there's no void.
