The Galaxy-IGM Workshop will be held again this summer.
For over a decade, the Galaxy-IGM Workshop has been a platform for sharing and discussing the latest research findings on various topics, including galaxy formation, IGM and CGM, cosmic reionization, and supermassive black holes from theoretical and observational aspects. This workshop also aims to encourage interaction among young students and researchers and provide them with opportunities for presentations.
We have decided to hold the workshop in person at Hirosaki University this year. As in previous years, the program will include invited and contributed talks and group work sessions led by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
We are pleased to announce that this workshop is supported by conference grants from Aomori Prefecture.

Registration is now open (due on July 5th, 2024)
Slots for contributed talks are limited, so if there is an excessive number of applicants, we will prioritize participants in the group work, where postdocs are also encouraged to participate.
The group assignments will be determined by the organizers. Although we will strive to accommodate your preferences, we need to balance the number of junior and senior participants and areas of expertise within each group. We appreciate your understanding.
Aomori Prefecture will provide grant funding for this research conference. To receive the grant funding, we need your accommodation information, including your place of residence and the name of the hotel where you plan to stay. You can edit your registration form multiple times, even after completing the registration process, as long as it is before the deadline. We kindly request your cooperation in providing this information (it will not be used for any other purposes).
