About Dr. Gajendra Azad Laboratory

Our laboratory, established in September 2019, at the Department of Zoology, Patna University, Patna, India investigates various aspects of eukaryotic gene regulation and cellular homeostasis. We use budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae as the primary model organism and employ tools of biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology for our studies.
