Internship Research & Project Research (July 2009 to March 2010)

As an internship student and later as a project researcher at the “Global Lab” in the National Institute of Informatics, I worked on a Collaborative Scientific Visualization research project which is a part of NII Grand Challenge Project.

Main Highlights:

- Designed and developed a solution for real time collaboration in bio-molecular science.

- Contributed towards integrating existing molecular modeling and dynamics tools with the 3D virtual world so that collaborative molecular modeling and dynamics can be realized in a virtual world based on

OpenSim world simulator platform. This application enables both scientists and the general public to participate in scientific discussions related to bio-molecular science on the internet.
