My name is Sofía Martínez Alberga (she/ella) and I’m a fourth year Ph.D. student at Purdue University. Mathematically (and broadly), I am working in algebraic topology with my advisor Manuel Rivera. Besides that I love watching indy films, reading, and traveling.

he/himHello, I am a trans man in my fourth year at Duke University. I study low dimensional topology, particularly using Heegaard Floer homology and Knot Floer homology. Outside of math, I enjoy the visual arts and have been digitally painting landscapes recently.
