Vishal Jatia is the President of Greenland (America) Inc. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003, and shortly afterwards, joined his family’s scrap metal business. Along with his father Suresh, he has been instrumental in expanding the company in different parts of the world. Greenland America now buys scrap metal from North / South America, Mexico, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and several other countries. He moved to India back in 2010 and works at unearthly hours, managing his wonderful team of Traders all around the world, which he is most proud of. While in India, he setup the office there which runs 3 separate shifts 24 hours a day and services suppliers from New Zealand to Hawaii and everything in between. His future plans includes expanding his sales team as government policies & trade wars keep changing the destination of where scrap gets consumed. Keeping in constant touch with his buyers and suppliers along with always keeping an ear on the ground and adapting to the ever changing environment is what he does best.
