Cottage Rental- Patterson Lake (Quebec)               2025

  Waterfront cottage for rent on beautiful Patterson Lake (in the municipality of Lac Cayamant, Québec).   Available from now until October (weather permitting).   Located 1 hour and 20 minutes from Ottawa and is approx. 25 minutes West of Gracefield. 

  Offers many comforts of home on 2 levels.  3 bdrms. (2 queen beds, 1 double, 1 twin, 1 cot) 2 bdrms on the upper level.  One bdrm on the lower level.   linens/towels are not provided.  

  160 ft of clear gradual sandy waterfront on over  1 acre of wooded/very private land. 

   Maximum people occupancy is 8 due to the size of the septic tank.  Guests are welcome during the day up to a maximum of 11.  Looking for families that are quiet and respectful. 

  Rates:

High season:   Mid-June until Mid-September.  Weekly rate of 1,975.00$ (standard week is from Saturday to Saturday).   Please  feel free to contact us to determine a price for a longer rental period.

Check-out 11:00am / Check-in 3:00pm (Saturday to Saturday)

 Long weekend/Weekdays: Please inquire directly for rates and availability.  

  Deposit:  25% non-refundable deposit to secure reservation, plus security/damage deposit (250.00$) required upon booking.  

  Motor boats are allowed on the lake.  There is a boat lauch nearby is you wish to bring a boat/seadoo.   3 kayaks, 1 paddle boat and 1 canoe are available for your enjoyment.  We can provide some life vest as well in various sizes.  

     The lake is very clear and great for swimming and snorkeling.  Gradual sandy beach (perfect for small children). Dock.  NO DIVING from dock as it is only approx. 5 feet deep at the end of the dock.  Drone footage from our cottage (this drone footage is from the neighbouring cottage) shows how clear the lake water is and the sandy beach.  

    Firepit.  Some wood is available to burn, however if a large amount of wood is burnt during the rental period, a charge will be imposed. 

  Small animals may be permitted.  Need to be discussed.   

   Cottagers/renters need to bring their own water to drink.  Water is drawn from the lake and is good for showers, cleaning dishes, toilet flushing, etc…   However we do not recommend drinking it.  Some neighbouring cottagers do drink it, and have been doing so for many years, but we feel it is safer to drink bottled water.   A water dispenser is available in the cottage but a large bottle needs to be brought.  

  Visits are available weekends. My mother owns this cottage and we own the adjacent one. 

  T.V. (Netflix, streaming services) and DVD available.  Starlink Wi-FI (unlimited, 150Mb/s down, 15Mb/s up on average)).   No telephone land line but cellular coverage is very good (Telus and Bell).

  Very well maintained and very clean cottage and property. 

  2 corner stores (dépanneur) in “Lac Cayamant’ with all the basic necessities.  They sell beer, wine and spirits.  A “Metro” is also located in Gracefield which has a great selection of food (steak, chicken, fruits and vegetables, liquor etc…)

  Fishing licenses (Québec) can also be purchased at one of the local corner stores in Lac Cayamant.   A license is required to fish in the province of Quebec.   We have a couple of fishing rods that you are welcome to use (worms, hooks, etc... can be purchased at the Dépanneur)
