GachaCine — Terms of Service

Welcome to GachaCine (Film & TV Series Collection Cards). By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The Service

GachaCine lets you photograph film and series scenes, identify them with AI, collect them as rarity-based cards, earn XP, complete sets, unlock figures, mascots and avatars, and share a public profile showcase in the Explore section. You may use the app with an account (via Clerk, including Google sign-in) or anonymously with limited, device-only features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. Between 13 and 18, use the app with a parent's or guardian's knowledge. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: upload illegal, hateful, pornographic or violent imagery; attempt to disrupt, scrape at abusive rates, or reverse-engineer the service; impersonate others; use another person's account; exploit bugs to gain XP, items or advantages; or use the service in any way that violates applicable law. Automated or bulk use beyond normal personal use may lead to quota limits or suspension.

4. Virtual Items Have No Monetary Value

XP, levels, cards, sets, figures, mascots, avatars and all other in-app items are virtual entertainment content only. They have no cash value, cannot be purchased for money (the app takes no payments), cannot be sold, traded for money, transferred for value, or redeemed. We may adjust game balance, costs and rewards at any time.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Film and series data, posters, stills and cast information are provided by third parties (including TMDb) for identification purposes. GachaCine is an independent app, not endorsed by or affiliated with any studio, rights holder or database provider. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. The app's own design, text and code belong to GachaCine. Your custom uploads (e.g. profile photos) remain yours; by uploading you grant us a license to store and display them as part of the service, and you confirm you have the right to upload them.

6. User Content and Public Profiles

Profile showcases, display names and avatars you publish in Explore are visible to all users. Do not publish content that infringes others' rights or privacy. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms.

7. Availability and Changes

The service is provided "as is", without warranties. AI identification, third-party data and external services may be inaccurate, incomplete or temporarily unavailable. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Quota limits (e.g. daily scans) apply and may change.

8. Accounts and Termination

You may delete your account and cloud data at any time from Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Termination ends your right to use the service; virtual items are forfeited without compensation.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GachaCine is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid to us — which, as the app is free, is zero.

10. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
