I'm figuring out what type of engineering I want to pursue. I’m leaning into electrical engineering since I love working with cables and the ways of how electrical appliances and machines work intrigue me. My father gave me experience when he asked me to help fix up my grandma's washing room. Everything in the room was fried and no longer worked and I sat in the living room wondering how it broke, what happened inside of the machines, and how I could fix them. I’ve only recently realized how intriguing electrical machinery is and I want to look into it more so I can decide whether or not I want to pursue electrical engineering.
I haven’t taken any classes that will help me yet but I’m looking forward to learning everything I can in engineering. Nothing I’ve studied or taken will help me but I want to learn everything I can in this class to help me reach my goals. I’m good at math and writing so that’ll be able to help me in the future in engineering.
I haven’t fully decided what I am going to do after I graduate, but I’m thinking about going to college at CSM for engineering and possibly finding work in engineering in the nearby naval bases. I will be glad to take any apprenticeships that come my way for as much experience as possible.
Once I’ve reached my goals I hope to help people in any way I can. I want to help out the less fortunate people around me and my job will hopefully help us grow as a community. I hope to improve the area around me and create amazing structures and/or inventions that will provide aid to the people.
