I started my personal YouTube channel in 2018 with fun little videos made with iMovie. I learned how to produce broadcast pieces for the school news in high school. I had different internships in high school I produced videos for including music videos and a commercial. Classes such as Cinematography, Commercial Video Production, 360 Video Production, Documentary Filmmaking, and Visual Communications tested and expanded my skills. I am currently studying Drone Cinematography and plan to earn the FAA Part 107 pilot license. While studying for the test, I am completing a project capturing different parts of the Shenandoah University campus.
Caffeine: the addiction is a documentary about the impacts of caffeine on college students. I took a documentary filmmaking class Fall 2024. There are parts of this film that I would like to expand on, so this is a rough draft.
I recorded on two different Canon DSLRs and had assistance with audio recording (credited in film).
Glow Aesthetics hired me to produce a promo video for their October 2023 Open House event. I met the owners through my Duck Donuts videos and they were interested in my work.
I used my DSLR camera to shoot the video and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the video. The video was posted to their social media accounts.
Duck Donuts hired me to produce two promo videos for events at their store. For both videos, I used my DSLR camera to shoot and Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop to edit. Both videos were also posted to their social media accounts.
The first event (top) was Vegan Day. This event featured vegan donuts with vegan-friendly batter and ingredients.
The second event (bottom) was Doggy Day. This event was a fundraiser for the Winchester SPCA. Customers could bring their dogs, get a free pup-cup or bandana, and talk to the SPCA representatives outside the store.
I took a Commercial Video Production class during the Spring semester of 2023. We worked with clients such as Ravenwood Faire, Schenck Foods, and the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival (SABF). I solo-produced two promo videos in this class.
The first video (top) is about Shenandoah University. Professor Lee Graff provided the class with footage from university events and locations that we could use for our videos.
The second video (bottom) is for SABF and was the final project for the class. Everyone in the class shot footage at the 2023 festival to use to produce a promo video for next year's festival.
I interned at Boondock Cafe & Diner during the Spring semester of 2022. As part of a final project, I produced a commercial for them.
I used my iPhone to record the video and voiceover and iMovie to edit. The video was posted on their social media.
