My teaching philosophy mirrors my research aim: to build living bridges between disciplines, communities, and students so that ideas and people can interact in mutually enriching ways. I see the classroom not as a place where knowledge is transmitted, but as a space where it is co-constructed. Students learn best when they are engaged as participants in that process, when they are given the tools to think critically, and when they are encouraged to connect their own questions and interests to the material. My goal as a teacher is to create the conditions for this engagement and to empower students to become independent, and curious thinkers.
