This section of the website is dedicated to Photography, more specifically to photographic drawings made on real photos, in negative, from which things emerge that are not immediately visible and that, in positive, would never appear to our eyes. Through these chaotic and abstract drawings, I was able to explore this concept not only by following a course at the academy but also by studying writings by Richter and other XX Century photographers who focused on this aspect of "photographic vision".
DIGITAL COLLAGE
Through the technique of collage, I have learned that image creation becomes much stronger and faster compared to painting. This practice, which I greatly enjoy and have developed, allows me to produce a large number of images using Photoshop. I often take images from the internet, modify them, and through collage, the original images though not originally mine, become unique and different in some way, opening up imaginary, surreal and illusory horizons. I find inspiration observing the artworks of John Stezeaker, and Hannah Hocke, two important artists who worked with the collage technique.
Clearly in painting this process takes much longer to comlete a piece. Personally, the collage technique allows me to expand my creativity and vision for image creation, which will later be printed in various formats. Thus, they will not remain only digital but also take on physical form.
