During all of highschool, I spent the time to create a youtube channel linked, https://youtube.com/patorrikku with the intention of practicing and displaying my editing. My plan at the beginning was to just create the channel and get a first video going to have something to show my friends and receive criticism from. From that goal I received both positive and negative criticism which I took into account to develop my editing into something better than what I had before. Over time, I slowly received subscribers until now, Grade 12, I've secured approximately 2,600 subscribers and a decently consistent viewerbase. My initial goal was just to hit 1,000 subscribers and at that point ditch the channel completely, but after continuing to receive subscribers I decided to keep it going and post more types of gameplay and with different styles of editing. I'm incredibly happy with the results and if I have time in the future I'd like to continue this channel as a hobby and see where it can get me.
