Greetings! I am Gabriel Carlisle a composer based in Nashville, Tennessee. My first experience with the world of music began when I was 15 years old. I found myself writing worship music after being saved by Jesus. It wasn't until playing video games, I found the music in such games intriguing opening my first door into symphonic music. Soon after I began to teach myself piano and compose my own game soundtracks. As I discovered more and more I soon found love for classical music. Similarly to my earlier experiences, I thought to myself "It would be beautiful to be able to create such works myself..." and so I began doing so.

In mid-2024, I received a Silver Certificate Award in the Global Young Musicians International Competition. The  award went towards my piece, I. Overture, from my still progressing work, Winter's Passing - Ballet in One Act, Op. 1.

Most of my education is from my own studying from various sources such as online courses, YouTube videos, and many books to aid in my knowledge of music.

My goal in music is to try to stop the rapid decline of classical music. Classical music is not an art form for the elite but for all to enjoy. I fully believe that by creating a more equal and balanced environment we can save this industry.
