Outside of the mathematics world, I enjoy practicing sports. 

I am a black belt in Karate. Specifically, I train the Shotokan style. While living in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, I had the opportunity of learning a little bit of the Goju-ryu style under Luis Morell Sensei.

I also love watching and playing Fútbol. While in DC, I played as a midfielder for DC club DCBB. We won the Fall 2021 DC Premier League division D2 and we played division D1 in Spring 2022... Let's go DCBB! 

Since late 2020 I have been an enthusiastic runner. So far I have run Medellin Marathon 2024 and Chicago Marathon 2025.
