Rotterdam Hardcore Sound
In Rotterdam we know that the word "gabber" itself means "buddy" or "mate" in Amsterdam slang, so I was intrigued by how a simple term for friendship had come to represent a whole subculture of intense beats, unique fashion, and a truly dedicated community.
Unlike the smooth, polished house music scene emerging from Amsterdam, in my opinion GABBER was raw, more aggressive, and unapologetically rough around the edges—a sound and movement born of rebellion against the mainstream.

At schoolparties and in walkman's.
Later when moving to the Southside, I would live nearby practicing places like 'De Baroeg' and 'Pompeii.
