April 2020 - Toccoa, GA

The storm that hit Stephens county was a "small" tornado. It touched down and was on the ground for nine miles before ending in Eastanollee, Ga. The County-wide destruction uprooted and snapped many trees with some structural damage to homes. There was no loss of life due to the storm.



September 2020 Hurricane Sally - Bay Minette, AL

Hurricane Sally made landfall on the coast of Alabama with winds at 105 mph. The hurricane moved slowly dumping rain and saturating the ground as it headed inland. Hurricane force winds caused notable damage to structures and many trees were uprooted.
