G & G Foods is a sole proprietorship owned and managed by Mrs. Grace G. Madamesila established in 2009. The company is engaged in the production of Ginger Tea. The idea of venturing into Ginger Tea production came about after the Provincial Government of Guimaras provided livelihood programs to the people affected by the oil spill last 2006. A multipurpose cooperative was organized by the local government for the people in the affected coastal barangays. Training on Ginger Tea production was conducted to the members of the cooperative in Brgy. Canhawan by TESDA, however, the program didn’t turn out successfully.

Seeing the potential in Ginger Tea production with the availability of needed resources, Mrs. Madamesila took the lead of producing the Ginger Tea employing the former members of the cooperative as production workers.  It started with an initial capital of Php 5,000.00 which has significantly grown into a fruitful undertaking.

On 2015, the company was able to produce new product lines: turmeric powder and with combination of other herbs both for the ginger and turmeric powder.

Presently, the company’s products are distributed to different store outlets in Guimaras, Iloilo, Negros Occidental and Antique.
