Closing her cafe, Tanya decided she had a much greater passion for working with dogs. She began building and, in early 2020, she opened 'Fyshwick Doggy & Puppy Daycare'.
This company is fueled by Tanya's passion, expertise and her caring heart. Her innate ability to understand dogs, as well as reading their body language and energy levels, makes OUR Doggy Daycare the place to go.
Tanya specializes in behavioral training & management, as well as being onsite, overnight, when any dogs are boarded. Having a background in dog health and safety, Tanya is also able to identify any health issues or changes in demeanor. This emphasizes how much she cares for each individual dog and their wellbeing.
She makes daycare feel like a home, not a business deal, which is exactly what our dogs need.
Starting her journey as a Work Experience Student, Dakota became part of the Staff in June 2022. Originally hired as a seamstress, Dakota took over the Instagram account later that year. She is now the Social Media Manager of our Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Website Design and Google profile.
Dakota is responsible for all the photos of the dogs, as well as videos and reels. Aside from managing accounts and content, she also does yard management and customization of the space to make it even more welcoming.

Ever wonder who is behind our remodeling and building? It's Kaleb!
Kaleb has been working at Fyshwick Doggy & Puppy Daycare since November of 2022. Despite appearing rather quiet, he is by far our funniest staff member - never failing to make us all laugh. Not only is he fun to be around, but Kaleb ensures everything is happening on time, and that little ideas never get forgotten.
Kaleb is responsible for most of Doggy Daycare's construction work. His skills help keep our facilities clean, fresh and more welcoming!
You can trust that your dog is in the safest hands with Kaleb :)
Since young, Hannah has been surrounded by dogs all her life - now with her very own, Benji & Willow.
She started working at Fyshwick Doggy & Puppy Daycare to involve her passion for dogs in her work life and has flourished! Hannah is constantly making a positive impact within the community, always willing to try new things and being a valuable team member and leader in dog handling and behavior management.
Recently, Hannah has taken an interest in learning dog grooming, after helping her aunties company! We can't wait to help her excel in this field and keep our pups looking glamorous
Stay tuned to see Hannah's latest adventures!
Corey began working at Fyshwick Doggy & Puppy Daycare midway through 2025, while studying and completing his final two years of school. While keeping this balance, he has been an incredible asset to the team, from his attention to detail in maintenance and daily upkeep, to his pure love for every dog.
Given that his mum owned a dog grooming company, growing up, Corey has always been surrounded by dogs of all breeds and sizes. You can typically find him playing tug-of-war in the big dog yard or letting the puppies climb all over him!
As he continues his Doggy Daycare journey, Corey has started to have a passion in social media content and photography! We can't wait to watch him hit the ground running in this endeavor and capture every moment along the way.
Make sure you follow our socials to see Corey's content come to life! and who knows, maybe his motorbike might feature.

While we may not be hiring right now, we do offer work experience!
This is just as important on a resume, especially if you are looking for a field in animal care (It also goes to ATAR points!). Work experience also allows you to figure out what job best suits you as a person!
We offer one on one training for working with, and understanding, the different dogs at daycare! This includes being able to read their body language, know which dogs like what things, as well as how to interact with the different levels of confidence each dog has. Plus, you get to pat dogs almost all day!
Still have your interest? :)
