Only club Cheer Directors may contact the FYFCL Cheer Director. Coaches must go through their club cheer director with their questions/concerns.
To respect the director's time, we ask that no calls be made after 9 pm. Morning calls should not be made before 9 am unless it is a game day emergency. Emails can be sent through the link on the cheer site at any time.
All Cheerleaders are required to have the following documents in the book for certification:
Hard Card (All areas must be filled out on front and back)

School/Sports Physical Dated in the Current Year

Participants on the 12U and 14U Teams that do NOT submit their most recent report card, or their cumulative GPA is below 2.0, will be placed onto Academic Probation at the time of Certification.
At the time of FYFCL Regionals Book Check those participants must have their updated 1st quarter Report Card on file showing a GPA at 2.0 or above in order to be eligible to compete.
Book Check is a requirement on Game Day and cheerleaders should arrive well before book check is to occur.
6U- Approx. 8:30am
8U - Half Time of 6U (Approx. 9:30am)
14U - Half Time of 8U (Approx. 10:45am)
12U - Half Time of 14U (Approx. 12:15pm)
10U - Half Time of 12U (Approx. 1:45pm)
Please note that the above time are just approximations. We suggest that 6U arrive no later than 8am and all other teams arrive 1.5 hours prior to their scheduled game time.

In order to qualify for FYFCL Regionals, a cheerleader must be present at at least 60% of their scheduled regular season games. This will be dependent on the number of scheduled games for your club and age group. If you have questions or concerns, please have your Club Cheer Director contact the FYFCL Cheer Director for information.
If a cheerleader has missed too many games due to illness or family emergency please contact the FYFCL Cheer Director. This will be handled on a case by case basis.
Squads are expected to perform halftime routines during schedule regular season games. The designated "Home Team" should make their way over to the "Away" side of the field and perform their routine. The "Away Team" should then return with the "Home Team" to their side of the field and perform their routine.
Home Team Game Day Gifts for the Away Team are encouraged but are NOT required.
Parents must stay in the stands, or outside of the track areas on game day. Parents need to be given clear-cut rules for game day by the club about not coming up to the cheerleaders or interfering with the coaches.
All Teams that plan to compete at the FYFCL Regionals must submit their registration through this site by the posted deadline. Registration does NOT result in approval. All team will receive a confirmation of approval or denial of their submission.
For FYFCL Clubs, failure to compete at the FYFCL Regionals will result in a fee owed to FYFCL.
It is not possible to put all stunts in our cheer rules. Therefore, if a stunt you want to do is not listed under the rules, please submit a Legality Review. If a stunt is performed that is not in our rules or has not been approved at the competition, it will be deemed illegal.

Combo Divisions *Please note that all combo teams must submit a Combination Team Request Form for approval at least 1 month prior to the date of competition. If extenuating circumstances occur after this date, please contact the FYFCL Cheer Director to discuss solutions.*
All FYFCL squads are required to submit their books for review at the FYFCL Regional Competition. Cheerleaders will not be required to present at the book check. All books should be submitted at least 1 hour prior to the competition start time. Your books will then be reviewed and any issues brought to the attention of the Club Cheer Director.
Schedules will be released no later than 1 week prior to the date of competition. These will be released directly to the Club Cheer Directors.

Top Teams from each division will receive a bid to the Spirit Championships as follows:
1st Place - Full Paid Bid
2nd Place - 1/2 Paid Bid
Divisions that have 2 squads or less, only the top team will receive a bid.
All discipline should be handled at the club level. If a solution cannot be reached, please have your Cheer Director contact the FYFCL Cheer Director for their input.
