REISIDENTIAL PLANNING
ABSTRACT:
Focusing on the fragmentation of high-density urban legacy sites, this project proposes a regeneration paradigm based on the logic of "Spatial Suturing." Adopting an "Urban Acupuncture" strategy, the design introduces a continuous 3D "Red-Line" high-line system. This infrastructure acts as a spatial adhesive, organically stitching new residential clusters with the existing historic fabric while resolving complex topographical barriers. Through the "Structural Grafting" of art units onto corridor nodes, traditional flat alleys are transformed into a vertical, narrative-driven "Gallery Without Walls." The intervention not only triggers high-frequency social interactions but also constructs an art-driven, symbiotic vertical community laboratory, demonstrating how contemporary infrastructure can revitalize historical contexts without erasing their memory.
ON THE AXIS HOTEL
HOTEL DESIGN
ABSTRACT:
This project is located at the edge of the Xiaoyanta historic landscape area in Xi'an, adjacent to the ancient urban spatial system of the Eighth East-West Street and visually connected to the Xiaoyanta Pagoda. Rather than replicating historical forms, the design interprets historical spatial order through a contemporary architectural language, drawing on John Hejduk's conception of architecture as a narrative and grammatical system.

RETIREES ACTIVITY CENTER
ABSTRACT:
In today's rapidly developing era, Taiping City in Malaysia, once prosperous due to industry, has gradually been reduced to a tourist destination with industrial transfer. The changes in social structure have caused many familiar elements to be altered or replaced. Especially for retirees, this has created a psychological gap, leading to negative emotions and a lack of belonging.
To support the mental health of these retirees, I intend to use the methods of Palimpsest and Typology in the design of the retiree activity center to awaken their memories and restore their emotional connection with the city.

KINDGRANDER
ABSTRACT:
New things are inevitably influenced by previous things. Instead of passively accepting them, it is better to respond to them with pleasure.
I tried to use the Daxingshan Temple next to the kindergarten as the starting point of the design. According to the various changes it has experienced in the course of historical development, the existing spatial axis was formed, and the cultural context of the city of Xi'an was echoed.
By paying attention to the 5° axis, I left a small footprint in the long river of history at 5°.

ELDERLY CARE FACAILITY
ABSTRACT:
The design philosophy of Fangcun-Square Inch aims to return to the details of elderly living. By extracting the dimensions of different functional spaces and using typology for deduction, I explore the minimum unit size best suited for the elderly's daily life. Within these "square inches," the goal is to allow them to feel a scale that is most suitable for them.
