Future Scholars is a student-run organization that provides middle school students with an IEP (Individualized education plan) that are interested in college or don't know anything about college the insight from high school students with an IEP and college registrars. Many IEP students take BASIC or fundamental classes such as basic or fundamental English, Math, Science and, so forth. In high school, you need to be at the top of your game especially If you're interested in applying to Universities, we are here to help! We know how frustrating it is to be in an IEP and how tuff it can be, but trust us when we say WE KNOW! Many middle school IEP students don't even know what college is about and how being in classes such as these can be threatening your dream of universities or future education. We are here to help and act as motivational speakers, educators, supporters, and much more! We will also be hosting numerous amounts of workshops. We want to educate the students and the parents to provide them with a better and more insightful future!
We plan on hosting numerous events on middle school and high school campuses. Events will include workshops, creating four-year plans, raffles, and dinner nights! Maybe even touring college campuses as well.
Future Scholars values each and every one of our students with an IEP and their parents. We know some students can be "Too cool for school" As a result, we want to get the parents involved and open their eyes to the reality of an IEP.
