Maker Spaces

A place in which people with shared interests, especially in computing or technology, can gather to work on projects while sharing ideas, equipment, and knowledge.

Maker Spaces in Education are about turning knowledge into action. Giving the students the opportunity create, change, recreate, and continue to learn and develop as they go.

Teachers are creating maker spaces in their classrooms and tying the space into content they are already teaching across subject areas.
