Below, we have a page for each skill that we demonstrate across all milestones. We use Google Slides for each Milestone and one slide for each way students can demonstrate their proficiency to their teachers. Each page is managed by a team of educators who currate and update the contents on an annual basis.
FRC Design Specifications:
Review the DQ Global Standard you have selected and make sure you are on the correct tab (i.e. LP, UP, MS, HS). Create the skill statement that includes the DQ Global Standard and the “by” statement. Screenshot the DQ Global Standard square from this website.
Find a symbol on Noun Project that you believe relates to the skill statement. Paste it above the badge icon and resize appropriately. All icons can be changed to white within the site.
Come up with a name that relates to your skill statement and references your “by” statement
Difficulty level should be based on the following:
Lower Primary: Low
Upper Primary: Low - Medium
Middle School: Medium
High School: High
Time limits should be age appropriate. We suggest the following maximums…
Lower Primary: 20 - 30 mins
Upper Primary: 1 hour
Middle School: 2 hours
High School: 3 hours
